Therefore, it can be a good idea to listen to music while practicing golf.

This isn’t surprising, as these genres of music increase heart rate and blood pressure which is never beneficial for fine-motor-control activities. To pick performance-enhancing music, you need to consider the intensity of your activities. In other words, the activities and the music for them have to be correlated.

A lot also depends on your personal preferences. If you hate jazz, it is not a good idea to listen to it while playing despite the statistics.
